The month of Ramadhan is filled with blessings but it can present challenges to the needy. They can face malnutrition, anxiety and even depression if they do not have the basic foods needed to survive.
Relieve Humanity distributes food packages to hundreds of families in the month of Ramadan. Our Ramadan food drive helps an entire needy family with one full month of desperately needed nutritional basic foods. The food packages include rice, flour, cooking oil, sugar, salt, tea, lentils, dates and more. These food packages are hand assembled and hand delivered to deserving needy families.
Zayd ibn Khaalid al-Juhani (may Allaah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ said:
Whoever gives iftaar to one who is fasting will have a reward like his, without that detracting from the fasting person’s reward in the slightest.
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 807; Ibn Maajah, 1746; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi, 647

Cost:
Each family food package costs only $50 for the entire month. You can donate Sadaqah, Zakat (Zakah), Fidya, Kaffara or Fitra for this cause Insha’Allah.
